What source files can you work from?
We work from Microsoft Word, PDF, Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, HTML and FrameMaker. If you have something else, send it over and we'll tell you what's possible.
Which eBook formats do you deliver?
Reflowable EPUB and EPUB3, fixed-layout EPUB, Kindle KPF and KF8, and Mobi. We also produce read-aloud EPUBs and handle legacy formats when a backlist needs them.
How long does a project take?
Simple reflowable titles are usually ready in about three days, and flat fixed-layout eBooks in about two. Larger or more complex projects are scheduled once you send the details.
Will my files work on Amazon, Apple, Kobo and the other stores?
Yes. Every file is validated with EPUBCheck and tested so it uploads cleanly to Amazon KDP, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble Nook, Kobo, Google Play Books, IngramSpark, Lightning Source, Lulu and Blurb.
Do you make accessible EPUBs?
Yes. We produce accessible EPUB3 to WCAG standards and remediate existing catalogues for the European Accessibility Act (EAA), including alt-text, reading order, navigation and metadata.
How do revisions and proofs work?
We share sample styles and proofs before formatting the full book, and we correct anything that isn't right. Our aim is files you'd be proud to put your name on.
Can I see samples before committing?
Of course. Our Samples page has real examples across genres, and we are happy to share work similar to your book on request.
How do we get started?
Send us your manuscript and what you need through the contact form or by email, and we will reply, usually the same day, with a plan and a price.
